To ensure the best quality produce is delivered every day it is imperative for us to understand and innovate at every stage of the Supply Chain. Whether it be the continuing search for better seed varieties or alterations to cooling technology, we strive towards fresher product with every innovation we make.

Our Supply Chain team includes a ‘product specialist’ responsible for each of the area; wholehead, babyleaf, brassicas and salad onions. Crop availability, ordering and quality is constantly updated and databased in our Produce Manager IT system. Due to the short shelf life nature of all our products, the Supply Chain team ensure product residency is kept to the bare minimum in order to give customers consistently fresh products.

We have a ‘Max 2’ philosophy which means we strive to ensure all product is in the cool chain within 2 hours of harvest. Our warehouse system has a cold storing capacity of 1,300 pallets allowing us to fufil short order lead times that are demanded by our customers. Our customer service team are available 7 days a week to receive and action orders. The technical team are always on hand to lend support and give advice concerning product standards, traceability, micro testing and ethics that are the cornerstones of our business
