Pak Choi
Pak Choi is a brassica. Brassicacae are highly regarded for their taste, nutritional and health-promoting properties. There is increasing evidence that organically produced brassica crops contain high levels of vitamin C, calcium, B-group vitamins and phenols. These compounds, particularly flavonoids, are thought to be important in combating cancers and heart diseases; these same compounds give Pak Choi its distinctive flavour.
