Little Gem

Little gem is a very compact crunchy lettuce. Small and sweet this romaine variety produces full hearted conical heads. The heads should be trimmed to the centre ring of green to pale green leaves surrounding the small compact heart.

It can be served in all kinds of salads and can also be served in quarters with a dressing as hors d'oeurves.
