Rigorous trials are carried out by our team of agronomists every month for 52 weeks a year in both the UK and Spain. We trial new varieties and types to improve the current programme and also to look at new concepts and tastes. We constantly update our seed programme to ensure the most appropriate varieties are used in terms of sensory attributes, shelf life, disease resistance and in order to meet customer specifications.
Langmead Farms are one of two companies that host the annual NIAB trials (National Institute of Agricultural Botany) involving key worldwide seed companies.
