We know the importance of delivering effective environmental management of our land. We participate in Environmental Stewardship Schemes to allow wildlife to flourish and maintain biodiversity. Each year we plant 400m of hedgerow to break up wind erosion and as a habitat for birds and wildlife. We create beetlebanks to provide 'wildlife corridors' and encourage natural pest control.
To keep informed of the ever changing flora and fauna in and around Langmead Farms we have a keen conservationist who keeps us updated regularly with up to the minute reports when rare species are spotted. We intend to continue developing conservation programmes which aim to improve all habitats whilst increasing the wildlife biodiversity for future generations.
